Ellen Frishberg
Ellen Frishberg conducts research and consults on higher education, student financing and student aid policy and management for organizations and families.
Ellen Frishberg has expertise in conducting and managing research (survey design, data collection, case studies), writing and presenting. She has consulted for non-profit associations and foundations that have an interest in student access, retention and financing.
Dr. Frishberg recently completed a report on the results of a successful FAFSA outreach project conducted by the National Community Tax Coalition in nine US cities. Ellen also completed research on what a good financial literacy program for grades 6-8 should include, offered a scholarship search seminar, and evaluated an outreach program that is integrating tax preparation with FAFSA completion. Dr. Frishberg enjoys working with college-bound students and families to find the right fit and financing options. Her two children are currently enrolled in college: Carnegie Mellon University and Indiana University of PA. Ellen Frishberg has extensive on-campus leadership in student financial aid, regulatory compliance, enrollment management and related information system implementations. She is a collaborative manager, strategic and data driven, to achieve desired outcomes. Dr. Frishberg is expert in statutory and regulatory requirements of the Higher Education Act and financing a higher education.

Ellen Frishberg is a weekly volunteer at the Maryland Food Bank warehouse. She is also the advisor to the Maryland Survivor's Scholarship Fund, a fund to support the surviving children of Marylanders who died on 9/11.
